AltaML announces new brand identity and office space
Edmonton, AB, September 29, 2020 -- AltaML is excited to announce the launch of a new logo and brand identity as well as its beautiful new Edmonton office space in the 103 Street Center. In two and a half years AltaML has grown rapidly from a handful of people to nearly 100 employees in three cities, prompting an expansion of its headquarters and a rebrand to better reflect and support its evolution from startup to scaleup.
A fresh colour palette has been selected and the new icon and typography convey AltaML’s core business - applied machine learning. The new brand identity better articulates AltaML’s unique offering based on accumulated experience, refinement of the business model and increasing organizational maturity. The AltaML website has also been updated to clarify how we work with industry partners.
In brief, AltaML helps business leaders understand how artificial intelligence (AI) can redefine competitive advantage and develops powerful software applications that create efficiencies, mitigate risk and drive revenue. AltaML offers a proven, collaborative approach to applied AI validated in over 100 use cases with over 50 partners across a range of industries, and invests deeply to understand the problems, processes and data to which the AI will be applied. Talented teams openly share their business and technical expertise with industry partners, ensuring that projects are driven forward to successful delivery. The new tagline ‘Elevating business through AI’ aligns with AltaML’s commitment to developing responsible and ethical AI solutions.
AltaML will be doubling its footprint, moving from the 12th floor to the top two floors of the 103 Street Center. The building is being overhauled by Epic Investments with stunning results that is attracting tech-based companies. AltaML would like to thank Synergy Projects for delivering the project on-time and on-budget as well as Wolski Design Group for the amazing design and ability to create a tech-feel while ensuring efficiency and collaboration. We look forward to unveiling the new space to the public once restrictions are lifted.
“We took some time to think more deeply about who we are and where we are going, and how our brand identity will help get us there,” said Nicole Janssen, Co-Founder of AltaML. “Perhaps most importantly we have gone through a process that helps all our staff understand how their interactions with partners and the wider community contribute to building our brand identity, and our new messaging helps us stay on the same page as we grow to deliver that consistent experience.”
“Our core beliefs are unchanged,” said Cory Janssen, Co-Founder of AltaML. “Our purpose remains to apply ML to elevate human potential. Our vision to impact 1 billion decisions by 2030 continues to drive us. Our core values - happy, humble, agile and gritty - are the DNA of our workplace culture and are integrated into our identity. All this will remain true as we scale in Edmonton, Calgary, Toronto and beyond.”
