Among the honorees are Nicole Janssen, AltaML Co-Founder and Co-CEO, a finalist for the Lifetime Achievement Award – Woman in AI of the Year, and Celia Wanderley, AltaML CTO, a finalist for AI in Industry – AI Innovator of the Year Award.

The awards recognize individuals building credibility and exposure for women in AI across Canada, the U.S., and Mexico. The WAI community stands at the forefront of promoting inclusivity, innovation, and excellence in the AI domain.

“Being named a finalist for the Woman in AI of the Year Award is an incredible accomplishment, and one that I don’t take for granted,” said Janssen. “This not only celebrates the strides we’ve made in AI, but it also highlights the ongoing journey to inspire more women to lead, innovate, and shape the technological landscape for future generations.”

“I am deeply humbled to be selected as a finalist for the AI Innovator of the Year Award,” said Wanderley. “This recognition stands as a testament to our team’s dedication and AI’s transformative potential in shaping the future.
