PRIVACY POLICY

AltaML Inc. ("AltaML", "we", or "our") takes your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and how you can manage it.

This policy applies to your use of our websites — including altaml.com, hubspot.altaml.com, and all related subdomains — along with the services available through those sites (collectively, the "Services"). By using the Services, you accept the terms of this Privacy Policy.

If you are accessing the Services on behalf of a corporation or other legal entity, references to "you" include the individuals whose personal information you provide to us in connection with your use of the Services.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post a notice on our website for 30 days after any material change. Your continued use of the Services after a change is posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.

1. What "personal information" means

Personal information means information about an identifiable individual. It does not include aggregated or anonymized data that cannot be linked back to a specific person.

We collect only the personal information we need to provide and improve the Services.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

Contact information. Name, email address, phone number, mailing address, and similar details.

Professional information. Company name, job title, and industry.

Job application information. Employment history, education, and anything else included in a cover letter or resume.

Financial information. Billing and payment details, where applicable.

Device and technical information. IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, and referring URLs.

Usage data. Pages visited, time spent on those pages, links clicked, and similar browsing behaviour on our websites.

Photos and videos. If you share them with us directly (for example, at an event we host).

3. How we collect information

We collect personal information when you:

• fill out a contact, inquiry, or download form on our websites
• register for an event or webinar
• apply for a job at AltaML
• correspond with us by email, phone, or social media
• sign up to receive marketing communications
• interact with our websites (through cookies and similar technologies — see Section 6)
• enter into a contract or business relationship with us

We may also receive information about you from third-party sources (such as business partners or publicly available sources) to verify or supplement what we already hold.

4. Consent

We obtain your consent before collecting, using, or disclosing your personal information for any purpose that was not described at the time of collection, unless we are required or permitted by law to proceed without it.

In some circumstances, we may rely on implied consent — for example, when you submit a contact form requesting a response, you implicitly consent to us using your contact details to follow up.

You can always decline to provide personal information, but doing so may limit our ability to respond to your inquiries or provide our Services.

5. How we use your information

We use personal information to:

• respond to your inquiries and provide the Services you request
• send you marketing communications you have opted into (see Section 8 for how to unsubscribe)
• administer events, webinars, or other engagements
• process job applications
• maintain and improve our websites and Services
• analyze how our websites are used
• meet our legal and contractual obligations
• detect and prevent fraud
• comply with applicable law

6. Cookies and tracking technologies

Our websites use cookies and similar technologies — small files stored on your browser or device — to support their operation and help us understand how visitors use them.

Necessary cookies are required for the websites to function and cannot be switched off.

Performance cookies help us measure how our websites are used, so we can identify areas for improvement.

Analytics cookies track visitor behaviour across our websites and help us understand the effectiveness of our marketing. We use Google Analytics (provided by Google LLC) for this purpose. Google Analytics may collect information such as your IP address, pages visited, and session duration. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Advertising cookies allow us to serve relevant ads and measure campaign performance.

Social media cookies support sharing content on platforms such as LinkedIn, X (Twitter), and Instagram.

You can set your browser to refuse cookies or to alert you when a cookie is sent. Disabling cookies may affect the functionality of parts of our websites. Our websites do not currently respond to "Do Not Track" signals.

7. How we share your information

We do not sell or rent your personal information.

We may share personal information with:

Service providers. Third parties that help us operate our business, including:

• HubSpot Inc. (customer relationship management and marketing automation)
• Google LLC (analytics and advertising)
• Other technology and professional services providers who are contractually bound to handle personal information only as we direct

Affiliates and related companies, where relevant to delivering the Services.

Legal and regulatory authorities, where we are required to disclose personal information by law, court order, or regulatory process.

Successors, in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or substantially all of our assets. Any successor will be required to handle your personal information consistently with this policy or to provide you with notice and a meaningful choice.

Where personal information is transferred to service providers located outside Alberta or Canada, we take steps to ensure that appropriate protections are in place. Governments in other jurisdictions may have access to personal information under their own laws.

8. Marketing communications

If you have opted into marketing communications from AltaML, we will send you updates about our products, services, events, and insights. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or by contacting us at the address in Section 11.

We will not send you marketing communications without your express consent, and we will not condition access to our Services on your agreeing to receive marketing communications.

9. How we protect your information

We use physical, technical, and administrative safeguards to protect personal information against unauthorized access, use, disclosure, and loss. These include encrypted communications channels, secure server environments, and restricted access controls.

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected, or as required by law. We retain non-personal information for as long as it is useful to our business.

No method of transmitting or storing data is completely secure. If you suspect unauthorized use or a security breach involving your personal information, please contact us immediately.

10. Your rights

Access. You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you. We will respond within 30 days of receiving a written request, unless additional time is permitted or required by law. We may charge a minimal fee in accordance with applicable privacy legislation.

Correction. If personal information we hold is inaccurate or incomplete, you may request that we correct it. We will update our records and, where appropriate, notify any third parties to whom we disclosed the incorrect information.

Withdrawal of consent. Where your consent is the basis for our use of your personal information, you may withdraw that consent at any time. Please note that withdrawing consent may affect our ability to provide the Services. We will explain the impact when you make your request.

To exercise any of these rights, contact our Privacy Officer at the address in Section 11. We may ask you to verify your identity before processing a request.

We may decline to provide access in certain circumstances permitted by law, such as where disclosure would reveal confidential commercial information or compromise the security of another person. If we decline, we will explain the reason.
