AltaML Ranks 7th on the 2023 LinkedIn Top Startups List in Canada
LinkedIn included AltaML in their annual Top Startups list, recognizing the company’s growth and expanding presence in the tech space, alongside 14 other emerging Canadian companies.
According to LinkedIn News, the list is a “testament to that spirit of innovation,” and features several young companies flourishing and gaining attention for using artificial intelligence (AI) and generative AI in business.
“These are the startups that have trailblazed their way through recent economic and workplace challenges—and managed to stand out to investors and top talent along the way,” the announcement released on Sept. 27, 2023, read.
AltaML ranked seventh on the list alongside other tech startups such as Neo Financial, Float, Cohere, Fable, and ODAIA.
“Earning recognition as one of Canada’s top startups by LinkedIn is a remarkable accomplishment,” said Nicole Janssen, Co-Founder and Co-CEO of AltaML. “Due to the rapid pace of changing technology, we’ve had to adapt and innovate to meet the growing demands of new opportunities for the use of responsible AI. It’s rewarding to know that the broader community acknowledges our hard work and perseverance in being agile.”
To compile the lists, LinkedIn looked at data across four pillars: employee growth, jobseeker interest, member engagement within the company and its employees, and the ability of startups to attract high-caliber talent from the LinkedIn Top Companies list.
