About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Associate Data Operations Specialist to join our team at Brilliant Harvest for an 8-month internship. If you grew up around the farm or heavy equipment and like figuring out how things work, this role is for you.

In this role, you’ll take real-world equipment manuals, documents, and raw data and help turn them into clean, organized, and usable information. Think of it like organizing the shop—making sure everything is in the right place, labeled correctly, and easy for the next person to use.

You’ll also work with outside partners and help keep projects moving, making sure everyone is aligned and getting quality work done on time.

Key Responsibilities:

Annotation:

Data Labeling: Review equipment manuals and documents, tagging key details (like publication date, part number, models applicable, etc..) so they’re easy to find and use later.

Metadata Creation: Add categories, keywords, and structure—like sorting tools into the right drawer—so data is consistent and searchable.

Quality Control: Double-check work to make sure everything is accurate and meets standards.

Contextual Notes: Add helpful notes or clarifications to improve understanding for others down the line.

Pattern Identification: Spot anything unusual, incorrect, or worth flagging—just like catching an issue before it becomes a bigger problem in the field.

Project Coordination:

Third-Party Vendor Management: Work with outside teams doing similar work—answer questions, give direction, and make sure their output meets expectations.

Task Prioritization & Tracking: Help organize the workload, assign tasks, and keep things moving toward deadlines.

Feedback & Iteration Loops: Review completed work, give clear feedback, and help improve processes over time.

Data Document Ingestion Operations:

Process Documentation: Help build and improve step-by-step processes so work is consistent and repeatable.

Workflow Optimization: Look for ways to make tasks faster, smoother, and more efficient.

Reporting & Metrics: Track progress (quality, speed, volume) and share updates with the team.

Key Responsibilities

Dealer Enablement & Champion Building

Identify and train internal champions at each dealership — the people who will carry adoption forward long after your visit.

Run onboarding and training sessions designed to create self-sufficiency, not dependency. Leave them with the confidence to train their own team.

Understand the dealership as a business (their metrics, pressures, goals) AND the day-to-day experience of the farmers and operators they serve — and connect both to the value of our platform.

Track adoption and engagement at the dealership level; identify where things are stalling and help remove the blockers without becoming the bottleneck yourself.

Build relationships deep enough that your contacts proactively share what's working, what isn't, and what their team needs next — without you having to ask.

Earn trust and drive change without a mandate. You're not there to tell anyone what to do — you're there to make the better way feel obvious.

Training & Enablement at Scale

Build training resources — guides, playbooks, short videos — that a dealership team can use on their own, without you in the room.

Create materials that speak to different roles inside a dealership: service techs, parts advisors, service writers, managers. What motivates each of them is different — and your materials should reflect that.

Capture dealer wins, customer stories, and real-world use cases that help other dealerships see what's possible and get there faster.

Feedback & Product Loop

Be the voice of the customer back to the Product team. You're in the field — you'll hear things nobody else does.

Document patterns: recurring friction points, unmet needs, what's resonating and what isn't. Bring it back in a form that's useful, not just a running list of complaints.

Help translate product updates into plain-language communications that actually land with dealer teams — release notes that a service writer would actually read.

Qualifications & Skills

B2B2C experience — you've worked in or alongside businesses that serve their own end customers, and you understand what it takes to drive value at both layers of the relationship.

Background in customer success, account management, or enablement — ideally in ag, with equipment dealerships, or in a SaaS/technology environment.

Real familiarity with how equipment dealerships operate — service departments, parts counters, the way decisions actually get made on the floor.

Proven ability to influence without authority. You've gotten people to change how they work without being their manager — and it stuck.

A train-the-trainer mindset. You measure success by how well people perform without you, not by how often they call you.

Experience building scalable enablement tools — not just solving one-off problems for one customer at a time.

Strong communicator, written and verbal; comfortable presenting to a group on a shop floor or in a Zoom with a leadership team.

Some background in content creation is a plus — guides, decks, short videos, anything that works at scale.

Willing and able to travel approximately 25% of the time — dealerships, farm sites, wherever our customers are.

About the Role

You will be a core contributor to our cloud infrastructure and delivery engineering practice. As a DevOps Engineer, you will own the design and operation of our multi-cloud environments across Azure, AWS, and GCP — building the pipelines, platforms, and automation that empower development teams to ship with speed and confidence. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role within a small-to-medium software team. You will be expected to bring strong opinions, take initiative, and continuously improve how we build and operate our systems.

What You'll Do:

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines that support continuous delivery across multiple cloud platforms (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)

• Architect and manage cloud infrastructure across Azure, AWS, and GCP using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation)

• Manage containerized application workloads using Kubernetes (AKS, EKS, or GKE) and Docker

• Implement and maintain cloud security best practices: IAM policies, network segmentation, secrets management, vulnerability scanning

What You Bring:

Client Success & Relationship Management

Serve as the senior client relationship owner for all active engagements within your portfolio, the primary escalation point and the face of AltaML’s delivery function.

Ensure clients are actively using and deriving measurable value from what has been delivered, identifying friction early and driving adoption strategies with the delivery team.

Identify renewal and expansion opportunities within existing accounts, collaborating with the Vertical Lead to maintain a healthy pipeline of follow-on work.

Minimise churn by maintaining strong executive-level relationships and acting quickly when client health signals decline.

Navigate politically sensitive stakeholder environments with discretion, ensuring AltaML is consistently positioned as a trusted partner — not just a vendor.

Delivery Oversight

Own outcomes across delivery ensuring every active engagement meets its commitments.

Oversee AI Architects (AIAs) embedded in client engagements (where applicable), with accountability for team performance, delivery quality, and risk escalation. 

Apply sound judgment to PDM deployment decisions: assess stakeholder complexity, reporting burden, and coordination overhead before assigning dedicated project management resources — PDMs are earned by complexity, not default.

Manage developer allocation in partnership with Tech Leads, flagging capacity conflicts and context-switching risks before they become delivery problems.

Lead scope management discipline — enforce change order processes, protect teams from overextension, and ensure clients understand what is and is not included in base delivery.

Conduct or oversee milestone and budget reviews as part of standing weekly portfolio governance.

Portfolio Strategy & Business Development

Partner with the Vertical Lead on account strategy — surfacing delivery insights, flagging upsell and expansion signals, and advising on how sales conversations should be structured to set realistic delivery expectations.

Identify repeatable product opportunities emerging from delivery work and bring them directly to the Director of Product to ensure promising ideas are prioritised and not lost.

Contribute to proposals and statements of work by providing delivery scoping expertise and realistic effort estimates grounded in operational experience.

Maintain situational awareness across the vertical’s pipeline and represent delivery capacity and risk in strategic planning conversations with senior leadership.

People Leadership & Team Development

Manage and coach PDMs and, where applicable, AIAs embedded in your portfolio providing feedback, removing blockers, and developing the next generation of delivery leaders at AltaML.

Model the culture and operating standards AltaML expects: accountability without defensiveness, proactive escalation, and delivery that operates like a business regardless of sector.

Support onboarding of new delivery hires into your portfolio, ensuring continuity and context transfer when team compositions shift.

Participate in internal org design and delivery methodology work, contributing a practitioner’s perspective to how AltaML scales its operating model.

What You Bring:

7+ years of experience in client success, delivery management, consulting, or a senior client-facing delivery role  with demonstrated accountability for outcomes, not just activities.

Proven ability to manage executive-level relationships in complex, politically sensitive environments including government, regulated industries, or large enterprise.

Experience leading multi-disciplinary delivery teams, including coaching and performance management of project managers, product managers, or consultants.

Strong working knowledge of agile delivery methodologies, project governance, and scope management including how to enforce change orders and protect team capacity without burning client relationships.

Comfort operating in AI, data, or technology-adjacent domains you don’t need to be a technical practitioner, but you must be able to engage credibly with engineers and architects on delivery risk and trade-offs.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; able to distil complex delivery context into clear executive summaries and present risks without creating alarm.

Experience using generative AI tools in their day to day work.

Nice to Have:

Familiarity with AI or machine learning solution delivery  including how to manage client expectations during model development, validation, and change management phases.

Background in Project Management and/or Product Management.

We are looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer who builds software in an AI-native way — someone who treats Claude and the latest agentic coding tools as a core part of their craft, not a novelty. In this role, you will contribute to the technical delivery of ML-powered applications across cloud services, APIs, and modern front-end frameworks, with Claude Code, the Claude API, and agentic workflows woven into how you design, build, and ship.

You will be an active contributor within your project pod, shipping features end-to-end, participating in technical design discussions, and growing your ability to translate business requirements into well-engineered solutions. You will take ownership of your work — writing clean, reviewable code, contributing to shared internal frameworks, and continuously developing your fluency with AI-assisted development.

You will thrive in this role if you are a builder who leans on Claude Code to move fast without cutting corners. You write clear specs, review AI-generated code critically, and know when to delegate to an agent versus when to handcraft. You are curious about where LLMs fit (and where they don’t), and you bring a practical, evidence-based instinct to that question.

What You'll Do:

Full Stack Feature Delivery

• Implement features end-to-end across front-end, back-end, and cloud infrastructure layers, taking ownership from design through deployment

• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and cloud-hosted services, primarily on Azure, following established architecture patterns and security standards

• Develop front-end components using modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks, with attention to usability, performance, and maintainability

Cross-reference product responses against source materials (service manuals, OEM documentation, technical bulletins) to confirm factual accuracy.

Develop and maintain a working understanding of common equipment failure modes, maintenance procedures, and service workflows to better evaluate the quality of product outputs.

Proactively identify cases where the product is producing answers that are technically plausible but incorrect, incomplete, or missing important safety or procedural context.

Contribute to building internal QA checklists, rubrics, and benchmarks for evaluating answer quality over time.

Project Coordination:

Work closely with external partners to communicate requirements, provide clarifications, and ensure alignment with internal standards.

Help manage work queues, assign tasks (internally or externally), and track progress against deadlines.

Review partner outputs with a critical eye for both process compliance and equipment accuracy, providing structured feedback and collaborating to continuously improve quality.

Operations & Process Support:

Help define, document, and refine data entry guidelines, workflows, and standard operating procedures — including equipment-specific guidelines for how technical content should be structured and reviewed.

Identify inefficiencies in data processing workflows and recommend improvements.

Track key metrics (accuracy rates, quality scores, throughput, turnaround time) and provide regular updates to stakeholders.

What You'll Do:

Financial Operations:

Responsible for assisting financial and accounting operations including:

Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures, including journal entries, accruals and reconciliations

Ensure timely and accurate recording of all financial transactions

Prepare or review complex account reconciliations including: Accounts receivable, Accounts payable, Cost of Goods reconciliation,  Intercompany transactions, Accounting for investments (cost, equity, consolidation methods), Work in progress, Capital asset depreciation, Bank reconciliation, and foreign exchange transactions. 

Assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of internal controls to safeguard company assets.

Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.

 

Financial Analysis:

Analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises.  Support as required with US GAAP for our US subsidiary.

Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

Develop and maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures

Determination of appropriate sales tax rates, and completion of government remittances

Foreign exchange transactions, and support with future hedging opportunities

 

Financial Reporting:

Assist with financial data and grant financing applications and reporting

Assist with external auditors and provide audit support as required

Assist with compilation of monthly financial reporting, including budget-to-actual and financial statement variance analysis, as required

Work with various business units on projects (financial modeling / FP&A/ system implementations, efficiency initiatives) as directed

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. 

• Progressing towards or completion of CPA (Chartered Professional Accountant) designation or equivalent certification.

• 4-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a similar role.  Experience in Tech industry an asset

Reduced Project Risk: Technical risks on projects are significantly reduced through proactive ownership of epic-level technical design, execution, and cross-team dependency resolution accelerated by effective use of Claude for research, code review, and rapid exploration of design alternatives.
Improved Technical Decision-Making: The team makes better technology choices through thorough research, evaluation, and documentation of potential solutions, including informed decisions on when and how to apply Claude, MCP servers, and agentic tooling versus conventional approaches.
Stronger Client Confidence: Client and stakeholder confidence is increased by leading technical discovery sessions and acting as a technical SME during project discussions, including on the pragmatic use of LLMs and AI-assisted development in client deliverables.
Feature & Epic Implementation: Leads implementation for features spanning multiple user stories or services, using Claude Code and agent-driven workflows to accelerate delivery without sacrificing quality.
Architecture & Solution Design: Leads the architecture design for moderately complex solutions, often involving multiple services or systems, and chairs technical reviews including architecting LLM-powered features, agent tool integrations, and MCP server designs.
AI Engineering Leadership: Champions best practices for working with Claude across the pod, prompt design, skill and subagent creation, context management, MCP integrations, evaluation of AI-generated code, and secure / cost-aware usage of the Claude API.
Mentorship & Technical Leadership: Provides technical leadership within the pod, mediates code review disputes, contributes new features and skills to shared AltaML libraries, and assists in the hiring process by conducting technical interviews. Coordinates the work of other engineers and levels them up on modern AI-assisted development.
Client Engagement & Discovery: Leads technical discovery sessions with clients to clarify requirements, define technical scope, and identify where Claude-powered features or agentic workflows unlock real product value.
Testing & Quality Strategy: Implements higher-level testing strategies, including integration and end-to-end tests for deployed solutions, plus evaluation harnesses for LLM-powered features (regression tests for prompts, agent behaviours, and tool use).

What You Bring:

Degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Software Development, or similar
5+ years of experience as a full stack developer
Demonstrable, hands-on experience using Claude (Claude Code, claude.ai, or the Claude API) as a daily driver for real software engineering work, not just casual chat use
Proven skills at taking ideas from conception to production, including shipping features that are partly or fully built with AI-assisted workflows
Strong working experience with Cloud Services (ideally Azure)
Strong working experience in a modern object-oriented language
Strong working experience writing clean, readable, and easily maintainable code, and a clear point of view on reviewing and hardening AI-generated code
Experience with Unit and API testing (e.g., xUnit, Postman, or others)
Experience working in an agile environment
Experience with Docker
Proficiency with Version Control systems (VCS), including working effectively with AI agents in a git-based workflow
