AltaML Welcomes Craig Haney as Head of Ventures

AltaML, a leading North American applied AI company driven to elevate human potential, is pleased to announce the appointment of Craig Haney as AltaML’s Head of Ventures, responsible for identifying venture investment opportunities and ensuring AltaML’s continued expansion in hyper-growth markets.

“With five ventures in play and more on the way, we identified a need for a dedicated executive, and could not be more thrilled to welcome Craig to lead this key part of our business,” said Cory Janssen, Co-Founder and Co-CEO of AltaML. “Craig’s deep skill set and track record for leading product development teams will be invaluable in quarterbacking AltaML’s ventures to successful growth.”

Haney is an accomplished leader with a background in technology, retail, and energy companies. Most recently, he was the Director of Business Development for ApplyBoard, one of Canada’s fastest growing companies. Haney is located in Waterloo, ON, and is actively involved in the innovation ecosystem, including as a board member with Propel ICT and the local Rotary chapter.
